Thomas works for the Danish daily newspaper Berlingske. He is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has had his work published in/ done assignments for: Sunday Times Magazine, Amnesty International, STERN, Newsweek, The FADER Magazine, DAYS JAPAN, GEO France, Human Rights Watch, Politiken, Le Monde Magazine, L’Espresso Magazine, Verdens Gang and Libération among others. Thomas completed a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism at the Danish School of Journalism in 2007.
